Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public access to many court records, but Reno County records do not all live in one system. District Court cases use the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal, clerk requests, and courthouse terminal access. Hutchinson Municipal Court has its own city case search and docket tools. Jail, wanted-person, statute, and bond information is handled through Reno County Public Safety.
Reno County also has record types that leave the court system. Certified marriage certificates come from KDHE after the completed license is forwarded to vital records. Kansas driver records come from the Department of Revenue, not from a municipal traffic case file. This site keeps those distinctions clear.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It is not part of Reno County, the Kansas Judicial Branch, Hutchinson Municipal Court, the sheriff's office, KDHE, or any state agency. There are real limits to what a private site can do:
- We cannot file court papers or send records requests for anyone
- We cannot issue certified court copies, marriage certificates, or vital records
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how Kansas law applies to a specific case
- We cannot guarantee that every official fee, address, phone number, or portal status is current at the moment you use it
Only the court, clerk, sheriff, jail, municipal court, KDHE, or other issuing office can confirm a current official record.
